Do you store our email data?
You have complete control over email storage. You can choose from no storage (emails processed and immediately deleted) to up to 7 days of storage for testing purposes. Extracted data is kept for 3 days automatically for debugging, regardless of email storage settings.
Do you need access to my email inbox?
No! Dokkio doesn't require any inbox integrations. You simply redirect specific emails to your Dokkio address. You maintain complete control over which emails get processed - total privacy by design.
How does email forwarding work?
Create email addresses like orders@dokkio.app, then set up forwarding rules in your email client to send specific emails (like invoices or order confirmations) to your Dokkio address for processing.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
If you exceed your monthly extraction limit, additional extractions are charged at $0.01 each. We'll notify you when you approach your limits and help you upgrade if needed.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect immediately, and we'll prorate any billing adjustments.
How accurate is the data extraction?
Our GPT-4 powered extraction engine provides high accuracy rates. You can test and refine your extraction schemas in our interactive playground, and stored emails automatically appear there for testing and optimization.
Are webhooks secure and reliable?
Yes! All webhook payloads are signed with HMAC-SHA256 for security verification. We provide automatic retries with exponential backoff and webhook validation tools to ensure reliable delivery.
Can I change email retention settings?
Absolutely! You can configure email storage duration for each email address independently, from no storage to 7 days. Perfect for testing initially, then switching to no storage for maximum privacy in production.
Is there a free trial?
The Starter plan is completely free with 500 extractions per month. Paid plans include a 14-day free trial with full access to all features.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and can arrange invoice billing for Enterprise customers.
